- Simplified valve construction with reduced internal metering component count, substantially lowering operational running costs.
- Dual upper and lower internal urethane seals on circular abrasive metering disc ensures full sealing of abrasive flow path within the valve.
- Unique design of upper and lower valve chambers to significantly reduce abrasive friction drag, resulting in reduced effort for valve handle operation/rotation and elimination of valve seizure issues prevalent in traditional sand valve designs.
- Able to operate effectively and efficiently with a multitude of abrasive types including Metallic Abrasives.
- Addition of 3/4" (19mm) drain port on lower valve chamber and 1/4" (6mm) purge line port on valve upper chamber allows for internal valve cleaning without disassembly of valve components.
- Upgraded heavy duty circular metering handle with new “sure fit” gland arrangement to metering stem.
- Plana Series II Valves are available in BSP or NPT thread configurations to cater for all global requirements.
- Plana Series II Valve body exterior is coated in high grade corrosion resistant DuPont powder coating.
- Plana Series II Valves are available in custom color schemes for OEM volume requirements.
